I had a bit of a nasty surpise on Tuesday afternoon. Mum put me down in my pram for a nap after lunch, and I had a lovely sleep. However, since I learned to crawl I've been wriggling a lot more, and when I woke up I must have wriggled a bit too much as I somehow wriggled out of the bottom of the pram and onto the floor! I was quite surprised, and wasted no time telling Mum all about it (she came running, as you can imagine). Fortunately my pram is quite low, and I did't hurt anything too badly.

In the evening, I went to bed as usual but then woke up all of a sudden two hours later. Mum and Dad weren't sure if it was my teeth or if I'd had a nightmare about falling out of my pram, but I was in such a state that I couldn't settle back to sleep. In the end, Mum and Dad gave me some yummy orange stuff called Neurofen which worked a treat and I was soon feeling much better. However, it did have a curious side-effect in that I was suddenly wide awake. I wasn't interested in going back to sleep at all, and none of Mum and Dad's usual tricks worked (they knew they were in trouble when "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" failed to settle me down). So I got to stay up playing until well after midnight. Needless to say, I've been a bit tired today. I guess the moral of this tale would be "no Neurofen after dark"...
