Mum and Dad were feeling much better by the end of the week. I somehow managed to avoid the terrible lurgy: Mum thinks I might have been saved by the antibiotics I'm still taking for my kidneys. Anyway, things were pretty much back to normal by Wednesday.

I had a lovely time at the Childminders on Thursday: we went to the Playgroup and did a lot of playing. It was also her birthday, and I loved looking at all her cards. And on Friday, I played with the Childminder's son as he didn't have to go to school.

Also on Friday, I didn't see Dad until bedtime, as he got up really early to go to Granny in Bradford's funeral and he didn't get back until later in the evening. He said the funeral went well, but that it was rather sad in places. Granny in Bradford was a very special lady and she will be missed.

Aunty Cheryl came to baby sit on Saturday night, as Mum and Dad wanted to go out to a birthday party (Helen from badminton, apparently). Aunty Cheryl was really cool and let me stay up really late watching unsuitable films on TV (but not really: I was a very good boy and didn't stir at all!) Mum and Dad had a really good time at the party (although my bedtime milk from Mum did taste a bit strange).
