Nana came to stay on Saturday, and we all had a lot of fun. Mum and Dad were very giddy when they woke me up for my bedtime bottle in the evening. I later found out that my sneaky parents had sneaked off to the cinema to see Serenity. And they didn't take me! I was a bit put out really: next time I'm going to insist that they take me too. While they were out, Nana made me a new hat. I thought it was pretty impressive that she could make a whole hat in a day:

On Sunday, we all went to Roath Park for a walk (or hobble, in Dad's case) and a cup of tea. Then we went out for lunch at the Black Cock pub (I've realised that grandparents are to pubs like moths are to flames; but noone seems to mind). The staff there were excellent and did a great job of warming up my lunch, and we all had a good time.

Later on in the afternoon, we saw Angela and Phil again. They've invited us to their wedding in December, and we're all really excited about it. They also brought me a really cool toy that plays lots of different nursery rhymes really loudly when you bash its nose. I liked it a lot, but Dad wondered if its batteries might mysteriously go missing if it carried on.

Hi Will, Mum and Dad,

I have finally found the website: wow what a cutie you are!! I remember the day you arrived in your cosy little plastic bag very well! I just can't believe how much you have grown! It is lovely to see you looking so well. I will be keeping up to date with your mischief from now on i promise!

Hey Will!
How's things? That's a very lovely picture of you and your nana - how clever is she, knitting a hat in a day?! And it really suits you.
Hope your Dad is adjusting to life on 2 legs again. I am sure you are looking after him very well.
Send my love to him and your lovely Mum and take care,

Jen x
