The Outreach Nurse came on Thursday to weigh me: I now weigh 6 pounds 10 ounces. I only managed to gain 3 ounces last week, but that's not a problem given that I put on so much the week before. I wonder if I'll reach 7 pounds next week?

My new chair from Toys R Us finally arrived on Thursday too; Mum and me have been waiting for ages for it to arrive, but it was worth the wait. It's got a sort of bounce to it and it's very comfortable. But the best bit is that I can now sit in the kitchen and make sure that Mum and Dad are preparing my food properly.

Friday was a very busy day. First of all, Mum and me went to a Teddy Bear's Picnic in Heath Park with some of the other Mum and babies that have been through the Unit. It turns out that there's a really cool train at Heath Park, and that you can even go for rides on it at particular times of the year. I'm hoping that Pa might like to take me on it when I'm bigger, as he's something of an expert when it comes to trains.

On Friday afternoon, I went back to the hospital for the first of several different tests they've going to do on my kidneys. They're testing to see if I picked up a kidney infection during my stay in the Unit. This test involved lots of cold jelly stuff and a tickly probe and it wasn't too bad, but I'm not looking forward to the one on Monday which needs a course of antibiotics to recover from.

After going for my kidney scan, Mum and me went back up to the Unit to say hello and it was great to see some of my old friends again. Mum tried to take a picture of the huge crowd of Nurses that appeared when went in, but most of them mysteriously dissapeared when she got the camera out:

I've grown a lot since I left the Unit just over a month ago, and I guess I must look quite different now. It must be nice for the staff in the Unit to have ex-patients come back to see them.

PRAISE GOD for the way He has worked in the care, nurturing and development of your beautiful child. It was a real blessing to read about your trials and victories. May God continue to bless your family abundantly as you trust in Him!
