We went to Roath Park today. This was my second trip anywhere in the car (the first was coming back from the hospital) and it was very exciting for all involved. After some headscratching, Mum managed to figure out how to collapse the the pushchair and get it into the car; no mean feat given that my pushchair almost qualifies to be Transformer (robots in diguise!). Roath Park was great: we walked round the lake and looked at all the ducks and swans, and then Mum and Aunty Ceri had an ice-cream while I had a quick snooze. Dad was very impressed by the huge piece of dredging equipment they're using to clean the lake, which looked like someone had parked a JCB on top of a small barge. Later, we walked back past the playground, which looked very exciting and I'm looking forward to spending lots of time there.

Aunty Ceri Went back home after cooking a tasty tea for Mum and Dad. She's great fun to be around, and she's is very important to Mum, Dad and me. I can't wait until she comes back to visit me again later this month.

Dad has run out of paternity leave and will be back in work tomorrow. He said that he's really enjoyed being at home with me, and I think he'll be sad to be back in work. He's not going to have much time to transcribe my thoughts anymore, so he's asked me to tell you all that this will be the last of the daily blogs. However, Mum and Dad will still update this site when important or interesting things happen to me, so please drop back every now and again. They also wanted to say thankyou to all that have helped us get through these past few months: we couldn't have done it without you. I'd also like to thank everyone who has left comments here for me to read, as I've really enjoyed reading them. I can't wait to meet you all for real.

Hi Will - this is the end of an era! Not many people as young as you reach the end of an era, I suppose - but what a fantastic achievement. I've had many a happy and slightly tearful moment reading your blog (the people I work with think I've gone a bit soft)

I think I will have do 'the repeats' when I am getting withdrawal symptoms in the middle of the day, but will look forward to many more photos and maybe even meeting you sometime soon.

Keep up the good work and Mum and Dad busy......

Lots of Love from Metty and MichaelXXX
Dear will,

It was so lovely to see you this weekend - you are a real cutie if a little grumpy at times! I would like to point out at this juncture that your dad has posted a shocking photo of me and your mum, which makes me look like i am sporting a mullet! Just so you know for future reference it is not a bad hair style but the result of having bed head due to short afternoon nap we all took whilst you were snoozing! Will miss your daily updates but look forward to on-line pics in the future! x
Oh no! No more daily Will news! I don't know how i am going to get through the day now!
I can't believe how cute you are though mr, so keep on growing strong and getting cuter by the day and i will wait with baited breath for the next installment...can't wait to meet you one day little man, but until then, lots and lots of love to you and your mummy and daddy!

Wills me little man!

What will we do without our daily fix? You are as adictive as a soap opera, but much more exciting.

I hope your Ma and Pa will let us down gently and maybe give us at least a weekly fix.

I just got an e-mail from ya Mum who is a bit scared about coping on her own now that ya Dad's going back to work, so be gentle with her won't you honey?

Take care, keep growing stronger, and hopefully I'll see you in the flesh soon.

Big wet kisses and some for ya Mum and Dad too.

What will we do without our daily update! However, totally understandable for Steve as huge commitment - although will regularly check to see your progress - great to see you doing so well!
I suppose it was inevitable that your dad would have to go back to his day job, but your fan club is going to miss their daily fix and it would be great if you could wean us off gently by posting an update every now and then.

Well done all three of you - you're brilliant!
WHAT AM I GOING TO DO AFTER WORK NOW!!?!? I've really enjoyed reading your updates and seeing you change with the daily pictures! I live with my best friend and we've both got hooked on seeing your progress!!!
I'll look back for you really soon but keep up the good work little man!! Where there's a will..... xxx
Oh Will, I am going to miss reading about your daily exploits so much! Please say thanks to your Dad for the wonderful site he made for your thoughts. It really is fantastic and like everyone else says, i've laughed and had a few tears with it too. I will certainly be popping back to check for any new developments - of which there will be loads I am sure. Send all my love to your Mum and Dad (and tell your Dad not to work toooo hard.)
Lots of love,
Jen xxx
Thanks to you all for giving so many people something to go to work for - lots of Hyde Clarendon staff included! Now they'll keep me busy asking for updates - but we're all hoping for occasional dispatches from the front! Go it William! We'll see you soon - we're the lucky ones! Look after your lovely mum & dad - they deserve it. Ma & Pa
